A federal court ruled in favor of a former Australian missionary who took Viagra to treat his back problems after he tried to sell it to the United States.

Federal Judge John Smith of the U. S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation ruled against the Australian-based lawyer who brought Viagra, saying Viagra is a “fda-approved, over-the-counter drug” and “not regulated”.

In August, the Federal Court in New Jersey ruled that the drug’s maker, Bayer Pharmaceuticals, did not have the authority to market Viagra to treat erectile dysfunction.
